Well, perhaps not quite infinite alternatives, but certainly there are enough out there to satisfy even the pickiest reader.  This page, if you haven't guessed already, contains links to the webcomics that I check on a regular basis.  They're not sorted in any form or fashion and only represent the kind of comics that I enjoy reading.

I still consider CRFH my first and foremost-read webcomic.  It's been a crazy, action-packed, ride all the way.  Werecoyotes, gun-nuts, Satanic morons, and super anime-cuteness awaits!

An incredibly funny webcomic, and the only one I've seen that has very successfully incorporate poems into any strip.  The dedication that Mab puts into his comic must be commended.
Boy Meets Boy is a damn funny comic about exactly what it sounds like.  It is, as Sandra Delete puts it, like the gay odd couple, only sexier.  Top notch writing and humor.
By fellow boardie Aeire, who puts some of the most exquisite emotion that I've ever seen into her artwork.  A high fantasy adventure with a talking anthropomorphic leopard!  Wheeee!
A beautifully drawn fantasy adventure webcomic featuring the elf Dedos.  Though it only updates once a week or so, it's an extremely worthy read.
The first webcomic that I ever read.  A hilarious strip about the insanity that occurs in a popular gaming magazine company.  I'm terribly, terribly fond of Skull and Brent.
Ah...if only my college experience was like this.  I might actually be fun to be around...and not be single...instead of always at home on my friggin' computer.  Aack.
An stunningly beautiful webcomic with some of the best storylines I've seen about living life as a cursed lycanthropic witch.  Maybe Godefrey ought to talk to Chelsea to get some pointers.
Though it's not a funny comic by any stretch of the imagination, I've always been very much impressed by the degree of honesty and emotional expression present in UBT.  A beautiful read.
A story about a witch and werewolf who fall in love while attending Cambridge.  It's not as weird as it sounds.  Beautiful artwork and very well-done writing by the talented Jess Idres.
This strip is an absolute riot!  Classic, yet flawless strip drawings combined with some excellent humor and kangaroos on roller skates.  What more could you want?
A Manga-style webcomic in the style of Sailor Moon.  Wonderfully drawn and packed with action, combining many elements that make it an extremely addictive read.
Oh, what incredible twistiness have I found here?  It's none other than Avalon High, where the relationships are more tangled and complex than the roads of New York.  An incredibly fun comic to read.
A comic poking fun at the world of RPG's...the Hero definitely has a Final Fantasy-ish look.  A decidedly funny strip for those of you who like RPG's...or just about anyone, really.
Piro draws cute anime girls entirely too well.  I'm officially jealous now ^_^  Actually, Megatokyo is an extremely well done, terrific comic strip with some truly excellent artwork.  Go check it out!
